The red wine \u201cPioneiro\u201d, by Ven\u00e2ncio da Costa Lima, was elected by the prestigious North American newspaper Washington Post as the \u201cChoice of the Year\u201d, in a list that recognizes the best wines produced worldwide. In Portugal, this acclaimed wine is sold exclusively in Intermarch\u00e9 stores.<\/p>\n\n
The quality-price ratio surprised the wine specialist Dave McIntyre. This is a complex red wine, with a recommended retail price in Portugal of just \u20ac3.99.<\/p>\n\n
It occupies the first place and is also the only Portuguese wine on the list of the 12 best \u201cfinds\u201d of 2021, a selection carefully made by the author, who, throughout the year, tasted more than 255 wines from all over the world. \n<\/p>\n\n
This is already the fifth year of the best wines list, compiled by the journalist.<\/p>\n\n
Dave McIntyre, also a well-known fan of Port wine, was impressed with the interconnection and development of flavors in the following days, distinguishing \u201cPioneiro\u201d as a great buy to be the house red in the first months of 2022. \n<\/p>\n\n
